After months of hard work i can now reveal that http://www.onestopcaradvice.co.uk has had a complete makeover. After comparing many, many other sites out there i dediced to try and improve on what is a already steadily developed used car portal.
i am trying to give a better user experience by searching as you go. Instead of having a great list options like you do on other sites with onestopcaradvice they can get refined as you go along. There is nothing worse than getting a car and spending half hour understanding the controls when you dont like the drive!!
There used car search is very straight forward, select make and model together with fuel type, transmission and price and click search, hard bit done!! Once the search results are displayed there is an option to refine the search a little more by choosing an engine size like 1.2 or even type like zetec. So far the indications of user enjoyment are good as page impressions and searches are up on previous statistics.
There will be more improvements in time by adding extra options like colour, body style.
